Privacy
This policy covers how we handle personal information, including the business contact details we use for the outreach described on our outreach practice page.
What we collect
Two kinds of information. First, business contact details (name, role, employer, work email address) obtained from licensed data providers, used to ask whether a specific work problem is real for you. Second, information you give us directly, such as an email address you enter on one of our pages, or the contents of an email you send us.
What we do with it
Business contact details are used for a single message about a single product, as described on our outreach practice page. Addresses you give us directly are used only for what you gave them to us for. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build profiles of you.
How long we keep it
If you do not engage with a message, your personal details are deleted within 90 days of the campaign closing, leaving only a one-way hash that keeps you off future lists. If you ask us to erase your details, we do so through the same process and log that it happened.
Analytics and tracking
Our pages count visits and conversions using our own server, with no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers of any kind. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@emereo.net and we will act on it. Under the Australian Privacy Act you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information.
Payments
Where we take a pre-order, payment is processed by Stripe and we never receive or store your card details. Pre-orders are refunded in full automatically if the product has not shipped within the stated window.
